Is this backpack waterproof enough for hiking in rain?

Yes. The Tyvek material is fully waterproof (hydrostatic head >2,000 mm) and the drawstring closure with cord lock keeps the top securely closed. The bag will keep contents dry in moderate to heavy rain. For full submersion (e.g., water sports), we recommend additionally using a waterproof dry bag liner inside.

Can it fit a 15-inch laptop?

The 32 × 42 cm main compartment fits most 14-inch laptops comfortably. A 15.6-inch laptop may fit diagonally but will be tight. For dedicated laptop protection, we recommend using the Tyvek Laptop Sleeve inside the backpack.

Are the shoulder straps comfortable for all-day wear?

Yes. The straps feature 5 mm EPE foam padding and are 25 mm wide, distributing weight comfortably across the shoulders. The adjustable triglide sliders allow custom fitting for all body types. For loads over 5 kg, we recommend the padded chest strap option (available as a custom upgrade).

How small does it pack when not in use?

When folded flat, the Tyvek Backpack measures approximately 15 × 12 cm — small enough to fit in a jacket pocket, purse or carry-on luggage. At 95 grams, it is the lightest backpack in our range.

Can I add a side water bottle pocket?

Yes. Side mesh or Tyvek water bottle pockets can be added as a custom option. Other customizations include chest straps, hip belts, external attachment loops and custom interior organization. Minimum order for custom features is 300 pieces.
