Frequently Asked Questions About Tyvek® Bags
Is Tyvek® completely waterproof?
Yes, Tyvek is inherently water-resistant because it is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fibers. Water beads up on its surface rather than soaking in. However, the sewn seams or zippers may let water in if completely submerged, unless they are specially taped or welded.
Can Tyvek® bags be washed?
Tyvek can be hand-washed with mild soap and water. It should not be put in a washing machine or dryer, as high heat can damage or melt the material. Wiping it down with a damp cloth is usually sufficient to clean it.
What is the MOQ for custom printed Tyvek bags?
Our standard Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for custom Tyvek bags is 100 pieces for standard sizes and 1-color prints. For fully custom sizes or complex full-color digital printing, the MOQ may be slightly higher. Please contact us for a specific quote.
