About this Tyvek bag

The Tyvek Card Holder Wallet is an ultra-slim, ultra-light wallet designed for everyday carry, corporate gifting and brand merchandise. At just 18 grams and a 4 mm slim profile when empty, this wallet disappears in a pocket or bag while holding 4–8 cards, bills, receipts and a key. The genuine DuPont Tyvek material is tear-resistant (it literally cannot be ripped by hand — unlike paper or thin leather card holders that tear at the corners after months of use) and water-repellent (a spilled drink or rain won't damage your cards or cash).

The bifold design features 4 card slots (each holding 1–2 cards for a total of 4–8 cards) and a full-length bill pocket for folded banknotes and receipts. The 10 × 8 cm closed dimension fits all standard credit cards, ID cards and business cards. Full-color edge-to-edge printing transforms the entire wallet exterior into a canvas for brand artwork, patterns or photographic designs — making it a popular corporate gift, conference swag item and retail accessory. What makes it durable

Material: Genuine DuPont Tyvek Type 14 (14 lb / 48 gsm), laminated for added structure and durability. Tear strength: Tyvek has a tear resistance exceeding 2,000 mN (far superior to paper at ~50 mN and comparable to thin fabrics). Water-repellent: hydrostatic head >1,000 mm. Structure: bifold with 4 card slots (2 per side) and 1 full-length bill pocket. Card slot edges: heat-cut and sealed to prevent fraying. Folded dimensions: 10 × 8 cm. Open dimensions: 20 × 8 cm. Printing: offset CMYK full-color with edge-to-edge coverage on both exterior panels. The laminated Tyvek substrate produces exceptional print clarity and color vibrancy. 100% recyclable. How many cards can this wallet hold?

The 4 card slots each comfortably hold 1–2 cards, for a total of 4–8 cards. The full-length bill pocket holds folded banknotes and receipts. Overstuffing beyond 8 cards may cause the wallet to lose its slim profile and put stress on the card slot edges.

Is Tyvek durable enough for daily wallet use?

Yes. Tyvek is tear-resistant (cannot be ripped by hand), water-repellent and abrasion-resistant. Many of our customers report using Tyvek wallets daily for 2+ years without damage. The material softens and develops a unique patina with use, similar to leather, but without the wear and cracking.

Will this wallet set off airport metal detectors?

No. The Tyvek Card Holder Wallet contains no metal parts — no zippers, no snaps, no rivets. It is fully plastic/paper-based and will not trigger metal detectors. This makes it popular for frequent travelers and airport staff.

Can I add a key ring or lanyard attachment?

The standard bifold design does not include a key ring attachment. A reinforced eyelet with split key ring can be added as a custom option for an additional charge. Minimum order for custom features is 300 pieces.

What is the thinnest this wallet can be?

When empty, the wallet is approximately 4 mm thick — slim enough to fit in a front pants pocket, shirt pocket or small purse. With 4 cards and a few bills, it remains under 8 mm.
