The Tyvek Tote Bag is the ultimate lightweight, waterproof reusable bag for outdoor events, festivals, beach days and travel. At just 70 grams — less than a small apple — this bag folds down to pocket size yet opens to a spacious 40 × 38 × 12 cm tote capable of carrying groceries, beach gear, festival merchandise or travel essentials. The genuine DuPont Tyvek Type 14 material is fully waterproof (contents stay dry even if the bag is splashed or set on wet ground), tear-resistant (cannot be ripped by hand), and bacteria-resistant, making it ideal for food and outdoor use.

The welded seams (heat-fused rather than stitched) create a fully waterproof interior that prevents liquid from seeping through — a critical advantage over stitched canvas bags for beach, pool and outdoor use. Reinforced cotton webbing handles provide comfortable carry, and the 12 cm gusset accommodates bulky items. What makes it durable

Material: Genuine DuPont Tyvek Type 14 (14 lb / 48 gsm), high-density polyethylene fiber-based. Waterproof: Tyvek has a hydrostatic head rating exceeding 2,000 mm — water beads on the surface and does not penetrate. Seams: radio frequency (RF) welded / heat-fused, creating a hermetic waterproof seal at all seams (no needle holes). Handles: 25 mm wide cotton webbing, bar-tack reinforced at attachment points, 55 cm drop. Printing: supports offset CMYK (full color, edge-to-edge), screen print (up to 6 colors) and flexography. The unique Tyvek crinkled texture adds visual interest to printed artwork. All material is DuPont sourced with traceability.

Is this bag truly waterproof?

Yes. Tyvek material has a hydrostatic head rating exceeding 2,000 mm, and the RF-welded seams create a hermetic seal with no needle holes. The bag can be splashed, set on wet ground, or used in rain without contents getting wet. It is not designed for full submersion (e.g., as a dry bag for water sports), but for all normal outdoor and everyday use it is fully waterproof.

How small does it fold?

When folded, the Tyvek Tote measures approximately 12 × 10 cm — small enough to fit in a pants pocket, purse or glove compartment. At 70 grams, you will barely notice carrying it until you need it.

Can Tyvek be washed?

Tyvek can be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. It is not recommended for machine washing as the heat and agitation may affect the material's texture and printed artwork. For stubborn stains, spot clean with a soft brush.

What is the weight capacity?

With reinforced webbing handles and tear-resistant Tyvek, this bag safely carries up to 10 kg (22 lbs). The welded seams are rated to 12 kg breaking strength.

Can I print all over the bag including the gusset?

Yes. Full-color offset printing supports edge-to-edge coverage including front, back and side gussets. This is one of the key advantages of Tyvek over canvas — the entire surface becomes a canvas for your artwork.
